As a child growing up in New Mexico, Manuel felt a strong calling to serve his community in any way possible. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served honorably for the next ten years. After leaving the Coast Guard, he began working in New Mexico and Colorado in the funeral services industry as a funeral director and care worker. Manuel carries the same sense of duty he did serving his country as he does every individual family he serves. He is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner as recognized by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. Manuel is also a Certified Cremation Service Provider and a Certified Preplanning Consultant, as recognized by the National Funeral Directors Association. He holds an Associate Degree in Funeral Services from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service (Houston, TX), a Master of Science Degree in Quality Systems Management from the National Graduate School (Falmouth, MA), a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College (Albany, NY) and was a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security. Madison has always been a beacon of compassion and respect, having been raised in a family of eight siblings and instilled with the importance of family from a young age. After her family relocated to Cibola County in 2011, Madison has made a conscious effort to contribute to her community through volunteering for park and residential clean-ups and showing kindness to everyone she comes across. She has spent the past four years working as a Nanny and Customer Service Associate, taking great pleasure in helping others with empathy and care, traits that have been a part of her character since childhood. At Mt. Taylor Funerals and Cremations, we are honored to be able to serve the residents of Western New Mexico with the utmost respect and understanding.
