Memorial Services for Ernest "Bud" Douglas Gurley, 75, of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Monday-May 12, 2008-1:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.\n\nMr. Gurley was born on January 18, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio and passed away on May 7, 2008 in Milan, New Mexico. He was the owner of the Grants Lock and Key in Milan, New Mexico at the time of his death. He had lived in both Gallup and the Grants area. He was also a veteran of the Armed Services.\n\nHe is survived by his Children: Karen Gurley-Davis-Flagstaff, April Marquez, Lisa Gurley of Colorado: brothers: Joe Gurley of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, David Gurley of Sparks, Nevada, Allen Gurley of Sun City, Arizona and Donald Gurley of Reno, Nevada; sisters: Nellie Tefalu of Youngtown, Arizona, Betty Holtke of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Pierce of California, Shirlee Pierce of California, Penny Dolan of Cincinnati, Ohio and Susie Gurley of Phoenix, Arizona: Stepchildren: Tammy DeWeese of Gallup, New Mexico, Delphina Gurley of Gallup, New Mexico, Avis Mullins of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Michael Mullins of Shiprock, New Mexico, Valentino Watchman of Las Vegas, Nevada, Pasquale Martin of Phoenix, Arizona, Marty Martin of Gallup, New Mexico and Mark Martin of Albuquerque, New Mexico; many grandchildren.\n\nHe is preceded in death by his parents: Rankin Gurley and Flora Pleasant Gurley; Brother: James Gurley; Son: Ernest D.
