Merlinda "Linda" Villasana Obituary (1951 - 2021)

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later date in California where she was born Merlinda (Linda) Villasana was born on September 18,1951 and passed away on September 26, 2021 at the age of 70. She was a loving Daughter, Sister, Mom, Grandma, Aunt and Friend always putting others first before herself. She loved her family and her daycare family treating them as one of her own. Linda was a foster parent that was always willing to open her home and never turning away a child that needed a placement. She will be missed by many. Until we meet again Mom, Grandma,Auntie and Friend you will be in our hearts and memories. Linda was preceded in death by her Parents: Katie and Vincent, her Daughter Roberta and her Great Grandson Aaron She is survived by her 5 Sons, 2 Daughters, 12 Grandkids and 9 Great Grandkids Son Joe and his wife Tina of California, Daughter Angela of California, Son Vincent and his wife Marlene of Grants, Son Danny, Damien, DeWayne and Daughter Saumer of Grants Linda's Grandkids: Angelica, Shaniece, Joseph Jr, Adrian, Robert, Anthony, Jesse, Alyssa, Jessica, Richard, Jared, Zeth Linda's Great Grandkids: Aldo, Emily, Raymond, Anthony Jr, Alijah, Amelia, Logan, Jonathan, Xyla And all her New Mexico family she loved If Tomorrow Starts Without Me... If tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not here to see, If the sun should rise you find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, While thinking of the many things we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you And each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too. But when tomorrow starts without me please try to understand, That an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But as I turned and walked away a tear fell from my eye. For all my life I'd always thought, I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for, so much left yet to do. It seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays the good ones and the bad. I thought of all the love we shared, and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while, I'd say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized that this could never be, For memories would take the place of me. So when tomorrow starts with out me don't think we're far apart, For every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart
